Welcome to the 76th Annual Maine Association for Health, Physical Education, Recreation, and Dance Conference.
Moving forward, pivoting, regrouping. It is being described in many ways.Whatever you call it we are all trying to figure out how to do the work that we love. We are all confronting a time of many changes and we are meeting these changes every day.
MAHPERD will continue to grow and adapt, remaining motivated and responsive. Your professional organization has made it through 2020 and we are in a good financial position this fall. MAHPERD received a Maine Economic Recovery Grant in the amount of $12,928 and our virtual conference was a professional and a financial success.
The board met on Zoom more 15 times to do MAHPERD work and to plan this conference. The world of Health Education, Physical Education, Recreation and Dance is an exciting area in which to work and we’ will continue to meet and bring inspired people together in forums like this, to ensure that MAHPERD remains at the cutting edge.
